Objective



Retrieve License on the Firewall ( if the subscription auth codes are activated on the Customer Support Portal )

Environment


 
  • Physical and Virtual Firewalls
  • Any PAN-OS.

Procedure


*** The user must be an admin user to be able retrieve the licenses, non admin users will not have the option to retrieve or manually upload the licenses
  1. Log in to the WebGui of the Firewall.
  2. Navigate to Device Tab

  1. Click on "Licenses" (highlighted)

  1. Click on "Retrieve License keys from License server". The licenses will be updated.
