Verify the Current Account is the account that owns the asset.
If not, click on the account name and select the correct account.
Go to the Assets > Devices.
Register a New Device
Click the "Register New Device" button.
Select the device type being registered and complete the registration form.
Enter the Serial Number and Location information.
Click "Agree and Submit".
The new device is displayed in the Device table.
At the end of the end of the registration process, an optional step appears requesting to run the Day 1 Configuration
Register a new spare
Click on Device > or Spares
Click the Register New Device or Register New Spare button.
Complete the Device Registration form. Whether registered under Devices or Spares, the serial number will only appear under Spares once registered
Note: If you have an Enterprise Support Agreement covering the licensing in your account, select the option to include the device in the Enterprise Support Agreement to license the device and convert it to production.
7. Register a new Traps auth code,
a. Click on Assets > Advanced Endpoint Protection b. Click the "Activate New Auth-Code" button. c. Enter your Traps Auth-Code (found in your electronic fulfillment email) in the Authorization Code field and then Agree and Submit.
d. In the License column, click the download icon () to download the license key.
e. Select the version of Traps for which this license key will be used (Pre 3.3, 3.3-3.4, 4.0 and later) and then click Download.
f. Save the license key to a location you can access from the Endpoint Security Manager.
To register a new VM-Series device purchased from Palo Alto Networks. (Note: If you have a usage-based VM serial number from AWS, Azure or a Cloud Service, follow steps to register as a new device. See section 5. Register New Device).
Click on Assets > VM-Series Auth-Codes
Click on "Add VM-Series Auth-Code".
A new row is added to the table.
Enter the VM-Series Authorization Code.
Click on "Agree and Submit" to save. Click "Refuse" to cancel.
