Is it possible to license an OSS device temporarily?
Environment
Answer
- Palo Alto Networks does not offer temporary support.
- If your account has Enterprise Agreement, create an admin type of support case to ask for approval to temporarily include the OSS device to the Enterprise licensing. If your request is approved (as an exception), the Support team will internally activate the support license on the OSS device (on a temporary basis).
- OSS devices can be licensed only via license transfer from a Production device .
- OSS devices can be upgraded to Production devices , after the upgrade a net new license can be activated on the device.
