Why is the option "Select Running Config" Empty in the Maintenance Mode?

1. In PAN-OS maintenance mode, "Select Running Config" only displays saved named configuration snapshots,  including those automatically saved when:
   1. Generating a tech support file
   2. Performing a feature release upgrade
2. When no such named configuration exists, no configuration is displayed.
3. If there is no named configuration, the firewall will load the default configuration and come up.
4. As a general practice, always save a named configuration snapshot prior to and after any configuration change.
