Objective
To configure an Email Alert for High Availability State Change Event.
Environment
- Palo Alto Firewalls or Panorama
- Supported PAN-OS
- High-Availability (HA)
- Alerts
Procedure
- Create an Email server profile if it has not been configured.
- Navigate to GUI: Device > Log Settings,
- Click on Add under System, and the log setting window will open for System logs
- Enter the Name and use the Filter as "( subtype eq ha ) and ( eventid eq state-change )", under the Forwarding Method, select the Email Server Profile created in Step 1
- Commit the changes. Now email alerts will be received if there is a state change event on High availability enabled device.
