Question
Do log collectors in the same collector group share the entire log when you enable 'Enable log redundancy across collectors' option?
Environment
- Panorama VM
- PAN-OS 8.1.11
Answer
Yes, if the option 'Enable log redundancy across collectors' is enabled when new collectors are added to a New Collector Group, it will share the entire log. However, if a new log collector was added to the Existing Collector Group, the new log collector will have a portion of the existing log from another collector, not the entire log.
