How do I stop WildFire forwarding of blocked files?
Answer
WildFire analysis of blocked file is a new feature released from PAN-OS 8.0, and is enabled by default. You can use the below command to disable WildFire forwarding of blocked files (usually done for troubleshooting):
admin@PA-VM> debug dataplane set blocked-forward upload no
The command below can be used to re-enable it:
admin@PA-VM> debug dataplane set blocked-forward upload yes
To verify the blocked-forward configuration status:
admin@PA-VM> show system setting ctd state | match blocked Wildfire blocked file forward : yes
