How To Create a Palo Alto Networks Marketplace Account For Prisma Cloud

Objective


I need support for Prisma Cloud, but I need to set up a marketplace account first. How is that done?

Environment

Procedure


In order to request support for Prisma Cloud, you must create a Palo Alto Networks Marketplace account first. Here's how to do that.
 

  1. Go to the Palo Alto Networks Marketplace (marketplace.paloaltonetworks.com) and click Create Account at the top right of the page.

  2. Enter the required information on the Create Account page, confirm that you're not a robot, then click Next.
    NOTE: All fields are required.

  3. Enter the required information on the second page of Create Account, read and accept the Privacy Agreement, and click Create Account when done.

    A confirmation message will appear when the account creation process has been completed.

    You should also receive a confirmation email from support@paloaltonetworks.com to the email address you entered on the required information. The email will contain a link to activate your account.
     
  4. Open the confirmation email. Click Activate Account to validate your email address and activate your new Palo Alto Networks Marketplace account.

    You will then be taken back to the Palo Alto Networks website where you will see a message indicating that your account has been successfully activated.

  5. The first time you log in to your Palo Alto Networks Marketplace account you will be asked to provide two security questions, with answers, in the event you forget your password.

    Once you save the security questions and their answers, you will be taken back to the Palo Alto Networks Marketplace home page. You may then log in to the Customer Support Portal to request support for Prisma Cloud.
