How to view the pattern of incoming log rate on Panorama and compare it to platform capacity

Objective
To find out the pattern of incoming logging rate on Panorama ( Hardware or Software platform) and compare it to platform capacity
Environment
- Any Panorama (VM and hardware)
- PAN-OS 8.1 and above.
Procedure
- Log into the CLI of Panorama ( SSH preferred)
- Check the Incoming log rate in the monitor Log using the command listed below.
Panorama>grep pattern "Incoming log rate" mp-log mp-monitor.log
Incoming log rate = 23233.00
Incoming log rate = 12650.95
Incoming log rate = 11855.80
Incoming log rate = 2615.89
Incoming log rate = 14578.58
Incoming log rate = 10266.82
Incoming log rate = 13597.49
Incoming log rate = 0.00
Incoming log rate = 7475.22
- The above command should give you a pattern of incoming logging rate to Panorama
- This is derived from the management plane monitor log which gives us the pattern every 10 minute.
