Symptom
When trying to import a configuration followed by commit, it fails with error message "This config has been sanitized of password data because it was exported by a non-superuser or was part of a tech support export. Please use a non-sanitized config"

Environment

Cause
- The error appears when a configuration is importing into Firewall or Panorama and the configuration is invalid.
- The configuration is invalid because it is exported from a non-superuser account.
Resolution
Import the tech support generated by Super User account into the device to resolve the commit issue.
