Can I gather daily peak and average usage from each of managed Firewall devices?
Environment
- Firewall/Panorama device
- PAN-OS versions: 8.1.x and 9.0.x
Answer
Yes. The daily peak and average usage from each of managed Firewall devices is available via the app scope network report on the Panorama device and from the managed firewall itself, and via the managed devices health on the Panorama device.
Example:
- From Panorama: Monitor -> Device Group then select the interested managed device -> App Scope -> Network Monitor then select Last 24 hours button box.
- From Firewall: Monitor -> Virtual System then select All -> App Scope -> Network Monitor then select Last 24 hours button box.
Note: To generate report on the above graph click export as noted in picture below:
- From Panorama: Panorama -> Managed Devices -> Health -> Select the desired managed device(s) -> Sessions -> Throughput -> Click Maximize Panel (1) -> Set Time Filter and Show Average to Last 24 hours -> Click Print PDF (2)
