Symptom


  •  "show running resource-monitor ingress-backlogs" ==> shows total 99% usage every time the command is ran
  •  Network is not experiencing any issue. "show running resource-monitor" output validate that the CPU load is not high

Environment


Following platforms running versions below 8.1.6
  • PA-7000  
  • PA-5000 

Cause


  • PAN-97496 - show running resource-monitor ingress-backlogs, shows invalid session ids due to (Unknown) entries in powdump

Resolution


Upgrade to 8.1.6 or higher
