How to change the time zone from the GUI or CLI

Objective


Below is the steps to change your time zone from the current one set to match your environment. 

Environment


  • Panorama or Firewall

Procedure


Chose from either method below to change your time zone. 

From the GUI
  1. Navigate to Management tab.
    • For Panorama: Panorama>Setup>Management tab
    • For Firewall: Device>Setup>Management tab
  2. Click the Gear icon in the General Settings box

  1. Select the time zone from the Time Zone drop down box
  2. Click OK
  3. Commit



From the CLI
  1. Enter configure mode 
    admin@Panorama> configure
Entering configuration mode
  2. Set the Time Zone you would like (ex. US/Pacific)  
    admin@Panorama# set deviceconfig system timezone US/Pacific
  3. Commit change  
    admin@Panorama# commit
