Symptom


GlobalProtect client installation fails on a Windows machine.

Installation Error: 
The code execution cannot proceed because mfc120.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem

Cause


The error "mfc120.dll was not found" is seen when the Visual C++ package is missing on the computer.

Resolution


Install a patch for Visual C++.
