Resolution


Overview

Run the following CLI command:

> show system resources

Returns:

Cpu(s): 28.9%us, 16.0%sy, 4.9%ni, 48.9%id, 0.8%wa, 0.0%hi, 0.5%si, 0.0%st

 

 

ususerPercentage of CPU time running user-initiated programs, such as  running queries and reports
sysystemPercentage of CPU time running system-initiated programs, kernel processes
ninicePercentage of CPU time running nice-level programs that control priorities in the kernel's scheduler
ididlePercentage of CPU time that the system has no outstanding disk I/O request
waiowaitPercentage of CPU time that the system has outstanding disk I/O requests
hihardware interruptPercentage of CPU time running hardware interrupt requests
sisoftware interruptPercentage of CPU time running software interrupt requests
ststealInvoluntary wait by virtual CPU while hypervisor is servicing another

 

Note:  Running the command show system resources follow will refresh the output every second showing how the cpu levels change. Press “q” to quit out of the command.
