Symptom
Panorama M-100 upgrade from 8.1.x to 9.0.x fails with below error:

Details Failed to install 9.0.0 with the following errors.
SW version is 9.0.0
Error: Could not upgrade to version 9.0.0 because of insufficient memory.
Please upgrade system memory to continue with the software upgrade. Available = 16025MB, Required = 29491.2MB

Cause
Panorama M-100 appliance is running with16GB of dual in-line memory modules (DIMMs). For M-100 appliances, 9.0.x requires upgrading the memory to 32GB or more when installing.
Resolution
Upgrade memory of the M-100 appliance from 16GB of dual in-line memory modules (DIMMs) to 32GB of DIMMs or more.
Verify that the appliance has 16GB of memory:
> show system resources | match Mem:
