Cortex Cloud: How to resolve "API Security Protection Status (Linux Kernel Version is not supported)" error seen on Installed endpoint

Symptom
- You have Cortex Cloud Agents Installed
- WAAS is enabled for the agents
- WAAS is not able to protect the apps
- When you check the status of connected endpoint, you see this error " "API Security Protection Status (Linux Kernel Version is not supported)"
Environment
- Cortex Cloud
- Agent Installed and Connected
- WAAS Linux profile enabled
Cause
The reason for this error is that Linux Kernel version installed is not supported for WAAS.
Based on our documentation:
- Only Linux kernel version 5.13 and later, and cgroup v2 are supported for WAAS.
Resolution
Upgrade the Kernel Version to 5.13 or greater.
