Environment


**Network Config**
• Palo Alto Networks Cloud NGFW (Managed Azure Service).
• DNS Proxy enabled.
• TCP/53 DNS queries.

Answer


No, PANW Cloud NGFW for Azure does not support TCP/53 DNS traffic regardless it is managed via the Local Rulestack, Panorama, or SCM.

DNS-proxy settings are configured through Azure portal, and the option to enable TCP/53 is currently not available.
