'Check Now' Under Software Updates Does Not Showing all PAN-OS versions

Symptom
- When clicking "Check Now" to check software updates for Panorama or Firewalls, only Base releases and Preferred releases are displayed.
- Other PAN-OS versions are not displayed.
- The issue is relevant when accessing "check now" on Panorama or Firewall in the following paths.
- GUI: Panorama > Software
- GUI: Panorama > Device Deployment -> Software
- GUI: Device > Software
Environment
- Panorama managed Firewalls
- Next Gen Firewalls (NGFW)
- Supported PAN-OS
Cause
- This is an enhancement was implemented to help avoid non-preferred releases.
- This behavior is expected and was added in the following PAN-OS releases:
- 10.1.14, 10.2.10, 11.0.5, 11.1.3, 11.2.0
Resolution
- Uncheck the "Preferred Releases" and "Base Releases" checkbox in the bottom of the page.
- This will display all the release versions.
- The preferred release and base releases are checked (not to display) by default.
- Unchecking causes the warning message to be displayed as below.
- Clicking on "Yes" will display all the versions.
