Why is large core file missing after disabling large core feature and perform commit?

Environment


  • Any Panorama or Next Gen Firewalls
  • Supported PAN-OS

Answer


  1. When large core feature is disabled (followed by commit), any existing core file under /opt/panlogs/cores/ will be deleted.
  2. Ensure that large core file is exported before disabling large core feature.
  3. This is expected behavior.
