Question


  • CLI command "request system private-data-reset" is not completed.
  • In case of failure, the following log messages are observed in the console.
admin@PA-5260> request system private-data-reset
Executing this command will remove all logs and configuration will revert back to factory defaults. The system will restart and then reset the data. Are you sure you want to continue? (y or n)

  1. The issue is fixed under PAN-277755.
  2. Upgrade to the following fixed versions or later will fix the issue.
    • PAN-OS 10.2.13-h8, 10.2.15
    • PAN-OS 11.1.9
    • PAN-OS 11.2.8
