Question


Can we give users permissions to edit custom dashboards?

Environment


  • Prisma Cloud
  • Dashboards

Answer


  1. Currently, Prisma Cloud doesn't allow other users to edit custom dashboards made by different users.
  2. This  limitation prevents the sharing of custom dashboards as well as editing.
  3. As of now, there are no feature requests asking for the same.

Workaround:

  1. Create a duplicate of the dashboard you are currently collaborating on. Proceed to implement all modifications on the duplicated dashboard and then share the updated version.
  • Dashboards > Menu > 3 dots > Share > Choose public or private and set visibility for all viewers.    
  • GUI Path: Dashboards>Menu>Add dashboards
