Symptom
• User with a custom role cannot update tags in Prisma Cloud if the tag is assigned to a policy.
Environment
Prisma Cloud Compute Edition
Prisma Cloud Enterprise Edition
Cause
Custom roles in Prisma Cloud Compute Edition do not have permissions to modify tags used as policy exceptions. Only Admin, Operator, and Vulnerability Manager roles have this capability.
Resolution
Custom roles lack permissions to modify tags used as policy exceptions, use Admin, Operator, or Vulnerability Manager roles to modify these tags.
