Migration from Panoram to Strata Cloud Manager stuck with "Loading and Validating Migrated Configuration"

Symptom


  • When you try to migrate from Panorama to Strata Cloud Manager(SCM) it is stuck with the following error.
    scm_error 
  • The whole error message is below.
    Loading and Validating Migrated Configuration (Takes up to 5 minutes)
Migration Failed:
Config push aborted, error: SSL Decryption Certficate not specified on decryption policies with SSL Proxy Forward enabled for device Remote Networks

Environment


  • Strata Cloud Manager
  • Panorama

Cause


The issue was caused by the validation in Strata Cloud Manager. For the above case, Remote Network configuration does not have certificates for trusted and untrusted sites.

Resolution


To avoid this, please create dummy certificates for trusted and untrusted sites.
