How to generate and export management logs to an scp server

Objective
This article explains how to generate and export the management logs to an SCP server or TAC Upload.
Environment
- Any Palo Alto Networks firewall
- Any PAN-OS
Procedure
- Connect to the Palo Alto Networks device through SSH or Telnet.
- Enter one of the following commands to generate and export management logs file
- To export to a private SCP server
scp export log-file management-plane to username@host:path
- To export it to TAC upload
scp export log-file management-plane to xxxxxxxx@tacupload.paloaltonetworks.com:./
xxxxxxxx will be the case number, including leading zeros. Example: 02951329@tacupload.paloaltonetworks.com:./
When prompted, the password will be the email address under which the case was opened.
