Symptom


  • Global Protect system tray icon shows as Not Connected while the global protect agent is actually connected.

  • GlobalProtect (GP) App
  • Windows Host


Cause


Issue on Windows.

Resolution


  1. Restart the "explorer.exe" process in the Windows host.
