Downgrade error "Detected your corr data is stored in a new store engine"

Symptom
- The attempt to downgrade a Palo Alto Networks Firewall from PAN-OS version 10.1.X to 10.0.X version fails due the following error "request mongo set storage-engine instance corr format mmap"
Environment
- PA-3250
- PAN-OS version: 10.1.5 downgrade to 10.0.0 version
Cause
CDB Downgrade from 10.1 to 10.0
- Since PAN-OS 10.0 only supports MMAP for CDB instance, downgrade from 10.1 to 10.0 is blocked based on the current Storage Engine
- If WT is the storage engine for CDB in PAN-OS 10.1, then downgrade is blocked and a warning is presented
Resolution
Detected your corr data is stored in a new storage engine, In order to make consistent downgrade, please follow the below steps:
- Use the below CLI command to change the storage engine and then type 'y' to proceed.
> request mongo set storage-engine instance corr format mmap It will take some time, are you willing to continue? (y or n)
- Continue the downgrade, your corr data will be cleared next time
