Question

Will the public email address I use for my user ID in the Prisma Cloud Console also be allowed in the Customer Support Portal?

Environment

Prisma Cloud console
CSP

Answer

You can create a new user with a public domain on the fly with JIT Provisioning in the Prisma Cloud console, but the same user login cannot be used for the CSP.
If you need to add  administrative users on Prisma Cloud to be pushed to CSP to create login credentials, you cannot use a public domain.  The CSP does not allow user IDs with a public domain and the login will not be created.
A user attempting to log into the CSP with a public domain created in Prisma Cloud  will see the following error message: "This account does not exist. Please check the email address entered."
