Panorama logs are displaying duplicate and out-of-order logs

Symptom


  • On Panorama, when checking under GUI: Monitor > Logs > Traffic duplicate and/or out-of-order logs are seen.
  • Similarly duplicate logs are also seen under  GUI: Monitor > Logs > URL filtering
  • Search by session id also display these duplicate logs.

Environment


  • Panorama
  • PAN-OS 10.1.X and 10.2.x
  • Traffic and URL filtering logs

Cause


Software Issue (PAN-193235)

Resolution


  1. The issue is resolved under  PAN-193235 in PAN-OS 10.1.9 / 10.2.3
  2. Upgrade will resolve the issue.
