Environment
- Palo Alto 5200 and 7000 Series Firewalls
- PAN-OS 10.1.4 or later
- AutoCommit
Cause
- In 10.1.4 and later, the logging disks need to be ready before autocommit succeeds
- One can verify if the raid disks are ready by using "show system raid detail" command.
Resolution
- Autocommit will keep failing as expected unless all of the logging disks are ready.
- Expected to take 60 - 180 minutes rebuilding the disk based on the logging size itself.
- As soon as the minimum disk quota size is available the auto-commit will work fine.
