How to enable/configure Manual Gateway Selection in Strata Cloud Manager
Objective
Multiple Mobile User Gateways configured.
Give control to the user to connect to some gateways manually.
This article explains how to choose the locations to appear in the manual gateway selection list in the GlobalProtect app.
Environment
- Strata Cloud Manager
- Prisma Access Cloud Managed (Mobile Users)
Procedure
1) Login to Strata Cloud Manager
2) Navigate to Workflows＞Prisma Access Setup＞GlobalProtect＞GlobalProtect App＞Global App Settings.
3) Click on GlobalProtect App tab.
4) Click on the gear button for "Global App Settings" and select "Manual Gateway Selection" tab.
5) Enable the checkbox for Prisma Access Location(s) under respective regions.
6) Navigate to Workflows＞Prisma Access Setup＞GlobalProtect＞GlobalProtect App＞App Settings.
Edit the App settings that the users are connecting to. Scroll down to the Gateways section and External gateway.
Make sure that the Manual checkbox under Prisma Access entry is checked. If that is not checked (It is enabled by default), Edit and enable it.
Push the changes.
The selected location(s) here will be displayed on GlobalProtect App.
