Symptom
Clicking on "Run Now" in a custom report shows data. Exporting the report manually in PDF format fails but works with CSV and XML format.
PDF reports also fail to get attached to scheduled email. Whereas if a report group is prepared with the same custom report in CSV format, report gets attached to the scheduled emails.
Environment
This behaviour can be seen in where custom logos are used under:
Panorama -> Setup -> Operations -> Miscellaneous -> Custom Logos
OR
Device -> Setup -> Operations -> Miscellaneous -> Custom Logos
Cause
Images used for logos contain alpha channel or the images are interlaced.
Resolution
Make sure that images used for custom logos do not contain alpha channel.
And Images with interlacing are also not supported.
