Objective


This article aims to provide clear instructions on how to identify the current version of Strata Cloud Manager (SCM) being utilised.



Environment


  • Strata Cloud Manager (SCM)


Procedure


  1. Connect to SCM
  2. Go to Manage > Configuration > NGFW and Prisma Access
  3. Open the Overview page and Select the scope Global

The version information is inside the section General Information.

Additional Information


Another method via the Developer Tools.

  1. Go to the Palo Alto Networks Hub portal and login
  2. Before opening SCM, start the browser's developer tools (press F12)
  3. In the developer tools, go to the Network tab and make sure it started recording
  4. Then, launch SCM from the Hub portal
  5. After the SCM portal is fully loaded, stop the recording in the developer tools
  6. Finally, you can find the SCM version using the Filter "instances" and search for "version" under the Response tab.
