Objective


  • Records a video using Windows 10/11 laptop to explain a issue
  • Attach the video to the case as a file


Environment


  • Windows 10/11
  • Microsoft Clipchamp


Procedure


  1. Click Windows start button and type clipchamp. Then click Clichamp to initiate application

  1. Once application opens, click Blank Video icon

  1. Select Record & create > Screen

  1. A new window opens to select screen, click Select a screen to record

  1. Select Window (application) or Entire screen as needed

  1. After selecting the window or screen, click the Share button. A 3 seconds timer will start and recording will be initiated.

  1. Once recording is done, click Stop recording button. 

  2. Recorded video will be presented and can be edited as required. To detach the audio track from the video, there is the icon highlighted in the image below.

  1. Once video editing is done, click on the Export button in the top right corner. 

  1. Select required quality, file name and location. Description is optional. Click Export.

  1. Next page presents option to Save to your computer
