Symptom


  • The amount of policies in the Alert Rule page does not match the amount listed in the Governance page.  
  • Policies with “Build” only subtype do not show in alert rule. 

Environment


  • Prisma Cloud 
  • Alert Rule
  • Governance 
  • Policies

Cause


Policies with “Build” only subtype are not supported in alert rule. This is expected since Prisma Cloud does not support “Build” subtype in alert rule.

Resolution


  • Prisma Cloud does not support “Build” subtype in alert rule.
