Push scope changes are empty and OK button greyed out for admin-based users after upgrading Panorama to 11.0.4/-h1/-h2

Symptom


  • Panorama upgraded to 11.0.4/-h1/-h2.
  • After upgrade full/partial push to devices by admin-based users stopped working.
  • The admin role has permission to commit for device group or template and was working before upgrading.
  • The push scope works fine for local superusers after upgrading.

Environment


  • Any Panorama
  • Upgrade to 11.0.4/-h1/-h2

Cause


Software Issue.

Resolution


  1. The issue is addressed under PAN-255577 in PAN-OS version 11.0.5.
  2. Upgrade to the above version or higher will resolve the issue.
  3. As a workaround, use the superuser to push the config to devices.
