How does Prisma Cloud compute Agentless scan choose the Availability zone(AZ) in a region to scan in AWS?

Agentless scan.

Answer


Agentless scan chooses what availability zone (AZ) to use in a scan according to the response AWS provides us when we execute the following command. 
aws ec2 describe-availability-zones --region "region-name"
The Agentless scan uses the first availability zone(AZ) that is on that list and we have no control over what AZ to use.
