How to resolve the Error message: The xxxx.gpcloudservice.com certificate is not signed by a trusted certificate authority

Symptom


  • GlobalProtect App/Client tries to connect to Prisma Access. 
  • Error message "The xxxx.gpcloudservice.com certificate is not signed by a trusted certificate authority" is displayed.

Environment


  • Prisma Access
  • GlobalProtect App version 6.0.8

Cause


The client has not been installed "GoDaddy Class 2 Certification Authority Root Certificate - G2".
So the client is not able to verify the certificate.

Resolution


  1. Download "GoDaddy Class 2 Certification Authority Root Certificate - G2" from GoDaddy site.
  2. Install the same as  trusted Root CA.
  3. This will resolve the issue.
