How to activate a renewed Device Security license following RMA?

To activate a renewed Device Security license following RMA.

• Palo Alto Firewalls
• Device Security (IOT)
• Customer Support Portal (CSP)

The steps in the document are applicable when an initial Device Security license has been renewed

1. When an RMA has been submitted and a replacement firewall has been received the Device Security license needs to be removed from the defective firewall using the steps in the guide Offboard Device Security Subscriptions.
2. Once this is done, a Support ticket needs to be raised
3. Our Operations Team needs to make changes in the backend to allow the renewed Device Security license to be activated on the replacement firewall.
