Why can't I access CLI via SSH with an all-numeric user?

Environment


  • PA-Series Next-Generation Firewall
  • PAN-OS 10.2

Answer


Since 10.2, PAN-OS does not allow users to use the user name consisting of all-numeric characters.
Please use SSH with a user that includes characters other than numbers.
