How to fix commit error message "Error: add namemap_clearmember failed" ? 

Error: add namemap_clearmember failed
Error: error parse qos regular group list
Error: error parse regular-traffic group list.
Error: alloc obj iterator failed
Error: QoS configuration error

Answer


  1. This error occurs when two clear text traffic groups have the same name.
  2. Change the name to eliminate duplicate traffic group names.
  3. This will will allow the commit to be successful.

Example of duplicate names preventing commits from being successful (GUI: Network > QOS >Add)

In this example Test-Trust is used on two different interfaces, changing the name of one of the traffic groups will allow the commits to be successful
