What is the behavior when Prisma Cloud tenant license has expired?
Environment
- Prisma Cloud Enterprise Edition
- License
Answer
If your active Prisma Cloud license expires, uses cannot log in to the Prisma Cloud administrative console until you renew the license.
Also, Prisma Cloud doesn't ingest anything information from your public cloud if the license has expired.

Additional Information
Kindly refer to the following for the behavior after license was renewed:
- MDC (resource config) ingestion
If the license was renewed, the ingestion would start.
(We can't check the situation when the license has expired.)
- Audit log ingestion
Prisma Cloud can go back to 7 days max.
If the license was renewed within 7 days of expiry, it would continue where it was left off.
- Flow log ingestion
(AWS)
S3 Flow log: If the license was renewed, it would start from past an hour
CloudWatch Flow log: If the license was renewed, it would start from past 24 hours
(Azure, GCP)
If the license was renewed, the ingestion would start.
(We can't check the situation when the license has expired.)
