Symptom


Error message: Failed to create sdwan cluster meta file: vpn address pool is not configured" is seen while trying commit on Panorama,.

Environment


  • Any Panorama
  • PAN-OS 10.1.6
  • SD-WAN plugin installed 2.2.0


Cause


The commit failure results from missing the configuration of the VPN Address Pool.

Resolution


Configure a valid VPN Address Pool within the SD-WAN VPN Clusters and commit to Panorama.
  1. Select Panorama > SD-WAN > VPN Clusters.
  2. At the bottom of the screen, select VPN Address Pool.
  3. Add one or more (up to 20) Member IP address and netmask ranges, for example, 192.168.0.0/16.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Commit the configuration.
