SSH Service Profile still showing weak ciphers after deleting them

Symptom


SSH still accepts weak ciphers after changing them from the ssh service profile

Environment


PANOS = 10.1.5

Resolution


  1. For the changes to take effect we have to restart the ssh service as follows:
  2. > set ssh service-restart mgmt
  3. After restarting the ssh service we can see the changes that were done under the ssh service profile.
