Can I configure a service route to access Threat Vault?

Environment


  • Palo Alto Firewalls.
  • PAN-OS 10.1.
  • Threatvault.
  • Service route.

Answer


  1. There is no service route setting specifically for Threat Vault.
  2. Service route to other Supported services can be changed using GUI: Device > Setup > Services > Service Route Configuration > Customize > Destination
  3. IP address for threatvalut can be found using the ping command to following destinations
> ping host api.threatvault.paloaltonetworks.com
> ping host data.threatvault.paloaltonetworks.com
