Question


How to fix the error  message "Customer is not provisioned in CSP" when onboarding firewall to CDL?

Environment


Cortex Data Lake
NGFW


Answer


It is important after installing the device certificate on the FW  : to add the required firewalls to CDL within CDL instance.

If this step is missed - the error message will be present.

1. Log in to the hub and open the Cortex Data Lake app to the instance to which you are onboarding.
2. Select Inventory>Firewalls> Add.
3. Select New and Next.
4. Select the firewalls to connect to Cortex Data Lake and choose whether Cortex Data Lake will store or only ingest their data.
5. Submit your choices. 

If this error comes on one of the Panorama (When the panorama's are in HA environment), Check the Panorama HA configuration and validate Primary panorama has  secondary's correct Serial number and vice versa configured in HA settings

Incorrect peer Serial number in HA setup can cause this issue on one of the Panorama.
