Symptom


Stun traffic dropped intermittently

Environment


  • Palo Alto Firewalls
  • PAN-OS 10.1.6 or below
  • Dynamic IP and Port (DIPP) NAT

Cause


Persistent NAT is required for this to work.
 

Resolution


  1. Persistent-Nat-For DIPP feature has been added from PAN-OS 10.1.7 and above.
  2. Upgrade to the above version or above to use NAT DIPP for STUN traffic.
