Prisma Cloud: Why one won't get any Email Alerts for Data Security.

Symptom


One might notice that after they set up email integrations for Data Security, they see the alerts in Alerts Overview, but are not getting any email alerts as well.

Environment


  • Prisma Cloud
  • AWS

Cause


This is due to backend design and cannot be bypassed.

Resolution


You will need to set Data Security Alerts to send to one of the four following integrations:

Amazon SQS, Splunk, Webhooks, and Azure Service Bus Queue.
