Why DemUpdateService.xpc in MAC keeps popping up the taskbar?

Environment


  • Prisma Access 
  • Autonomous DEM

Answer


  1. All the ADEM license is consumed by the users.
  2. A New user tries to connect to the ADEM portal.
  3. Now the connection is refused and "DemUpdateService.xpc" keeps popping up.
  4. To resolve, restrict the ADEM installation to the limited number of users based on license amount.
