UserID agent's ignore user list entries are duplicated on the firewall GUI after upgrade to PanOS 10.2.x

Symptom


  • The entries under Device > User Identification > Palo Alto Networks User-ID Agent Setup > Settings > Ignore User List tab are seen twice:

Environment


  • Panorama over PanOS 10.2.1 +
  • Firewall over PanOS 10.2.1 + and managed by Panorama
  • UserID collector settings are pushed using Panorama Template

Cause


A visage issue caused by the browser side code.

Resolution


Please upgrade the firewall software to PanOS 10.2.4 or higher when available.

Additional Information


  • This does not impact the functions of UserID collection on the firewall since the underlying configurations on the firewall still has one entry per user.
  • This configuration can still be modified using Panorama but the duplicates will appear for the time being.
